A little more than Four years ago we all met at Jorge's Birthday party on 85th street and played a few tunes together. not long after we started playing gigs. We have been a band ever since, in between the time we spend with our families and jobs.
We have all played music since we were kids and no we aren't kids any more but we still love to play. We rehearse regularly and often and play songs we like to play.
our song list is varied and perhaps a little different from the same old stuff you hear from bar bands . We can play anything it seems but we stick to a lot of our favorites. folks generally tell us they love our song selections. And we can play dance rhythms or blues jams or ballads depending on the crowd and the mood.
fOR More than THREE YEARS WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING AT PARTIES AND BARS AND OUTDOOR VENUES ALL AROUND OUR HOMETOWN OF VIRGINIA BEACH AND SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA. When we aren't performing in public we are rehearsing so the sound stays tight and effortless. WE first STARTED PLAYING in public AT A LITTLE RESTAURANT AT THE BEACH CALLED "THUMBS" (SO WE TOOK THE NAME). lATER WE PLAYED AT THE tRADEWINDS ON sHORE DRIVE, hOLIDAY PARK cAMPGROUND, OUTDOOR MUSIC FESTIVALS, THE ROCK AND ROLL HALF MARATHON, Shakas at the VB OCEANFRONT Tempt Restaurant Kellys in Nags Head, and we are booked at the Tapped Gastropub and back at Tempt next year.and we expect to play a bunch this coming Year of2018
